About Us

Lee's Summit Equestrian, LLC is the home of Imagine Farms Training and offers a full spectrum of equestrian services: Horse boarding, horse training, riding lessons, horse sales and leasing, as well as breeding and mare/foal care.

You know there's nothing more important than giving your horse a safe, pleasant home. And, if you are like most horse lovers, your barn is also your home away from home. At Lee's Summit Equestrian you'll find a friendly, welcoming atmosphere - no matter your experience level, riding discipline, or horse breed. We invite you to come by for a visit any time!
Lee's Summit Equestrian is a full-service boarding facility where our monthly rate includes many of the services other barns charge extra for. Learn more about our facilities.
We also offer these other amenities to boarding and training clients:
  • Bill, our trainer, lives on site, which gives us an extra sense of 24/7 peace-of-mind
  • Jill, our feeder/stall-cleaner/blanketer/jack-of-all-trades holds a Bachelor's degree in equine science from William Woods and she has over 17 years of animal husbandry experience from the Deana Rose Farmstead. She's been with us for years; her own mare lives here; and we're pretty sure there's no barn help in the metro who truly loves her charges as much as she does.
  • Our cozy/air-conditioned lounge (depending on the season) offers you and your guests a glass windowed arena-viewing bar, Keurig coffee maker, mini fridge, microwave, television, Wi-Fi, plus his and hers bathrooms.
  • The front deck boasts a seating area for relaxing and visiting with friends. In the summer it's surrounded by an amazing profusion of blooms, and it offers a great vantage point for viewing the turn-out paddocks, clouds rolling in from the west, and the comings and goings from our ample parking area.
  • We've got a couple of swings under the trees, a peaceful pond, rolling vistas, a tree-lined and shady alleyway, and all sorts of wildlife for your viewing pleasure: deer, turkey, ducks, geese and other bird-watchers' delights.
  • Lone Jack Lake Conservation area is just to our north, where you or your non-horsey spouse can hop on over for some fishing. The Blue & Gray Park, with miles and miles of riding trails, is just north of the lake. People trailer in from all over to enjoy this equestrian amenity.
  • We're less than a mile north of Highway 50, off a paved road. A convenience store and the Lone Jack Cafe are literally a minute away if you need a snack break.
  • We are an easy drive from Lone Jack, Lee's Summit, Lake Lotawana, Blue Springs and Independence. And also from Pleasant Hill, Raymore, Belton and Peculiar. And you'd be surprised how fast you can get here from Raytown, South Kansas City, Leawood and Overland Park. Even our Wyandotte County clients say it's a relaxing drive - time for listening to music or podcasts a couple of times a week.
